Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Oil and perfume rejoice the heart; so does the sweetness of a friend’s counsel that comes from the heart.
Let us then boldly approach the throne of grace, [God’s unmerited favour] confident that we may receive mercy for our failures and grace to help us in our time of need. [It is a sweet, uninterrupted, steady flow in your direction, receive it with thanks.]
Ephesians 1:17, 18
[I pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, by having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you
2 Kings 6:16

2 Chronicles 6:40

For as the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return without watering the earth,
So will My Word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me without result,
Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
Timely counsel is as lovely as apples of gold in a setting of silver.
